San Leandro Hospital
Senator Corbett believes it is critically important to keep San Leandro Hospital and its emergency room open and has asked the Attorney General to investigate Sutter Health. Read more.

NUMMI Information
Senator Corbett is leading the fight to keep the NUMMI plant in Fremont open and employing about 5,000 people in Senate District 10.

Senator Ellen M. Corbett announces Gift Card Law expansion

SACRAMENTO – Senator Ellen M. Corbett (D-San Leandro) unveiled an expansion of her gift card law today in order to make certain consumers are able recoup cash for their gift cards. Senate Bill 885 will increase the amount on a gift card that consumers can redeem for cash from up to $10 to up to $20.
